Stubhub experiences?

I'm about to use stubhub for the first time to buy tickets for a boxing match, but it says I won't get the tickets until just a few days before the match. How have your guys' experiences been with stubhub? What kind of guarantee do they have that the tickets will be legit?

Bought some Phillies tickets off of Stubhub, no issues whatsoever. They emailed them to me instantly and I printed them out.

They're well-established, you won't have any problems. IIRC, they have some sort of guarantee in place that at least gets you your money should something happen, but I could be wrong.

StubHub is reliable. I've been told their customer service is top notch too, if something does go wrong. For most events I think they actually print the tickets themselves for you - the seller enters the bar codes and SH reprints.

My wife got me Winter Classic tickets off of there this year. No issues at all.

I bought some pricey Yankees and Giants tickets from StubHub when I was going to those cities; worked flawlessly. Very handy system and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I've bought eTickets 4 times from them and I've had zero issues. Still trying to decide between Chris Cornell or Coldplay for my next purchase... :hmm:

Bought lady gaga e-tickets from them, easy and painless. Although, I have no experience with them when it comes to having physical tickets sent to me.

I'll add my experience from earlier this year. I bought tickets to an NHL match in New Jersey between the Devils and the Washington Capitals. We got great seats for a very good price and the transaction was smooth and painless. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service again.

I've bought tickets for 3-4 different stadiums from StubHub, never had an issue.

no problems what so ever. Tickets came by UPS i think.

Never an issue. If you can time it right, buy at the end of the month. Plenty of kids buy concert and sporting event tickets and can't come up with rent.
