Hey guys,
For the last year I've been hitting the gym pretty hard and I've shed 30 pounds. I've still got a ways to go - but the fact is my body is bored as fuck of the same routine.
Whether it be rippletoe, SL 5x5, they're all more or less permutations of the same thing - that is, based around major compound exercises like deadlifts, squats, bench press. The reality is - I've got an underdeveloped nervous system, having been born 2 months early, which makes it really hard for me to trigger responses out of all my muscle groups at once that compounds are supposed to hit. This is a physical limitation. I do not have the same problem with iso workouts.
For the next month or so, or depending upon the results perhaps permanently, I want to switch things up. Where should I start? Are there any popular recommended isolation routines?
