Strongest hair Mousse?

If any of you happen to have used Loreal's MegaMousse, that had a very good hold on hair, but since they seemed to have reformulated it, and changed the spray tip into some sort of semi-translucent plastic, this product has NO hold, though it still claims to be the same MegaMousse.

Know of any other mousse that has a hold similar in strength to the old Loreal or just know your mousse has real hold?

I'm trying to avoid having to buy 5 bottles of mousse just to test.

Thanks.

Mousse, by nature, doesn't have very firm hold. You'd be better off with a gel, creme, pomade, or wax.

What kind of hair do you have?

just straight hair. but mousse can have the hold I'm talking about... the old loreal mega, before they released it with a translucent top, and I can see its list of ingredients has changed from top to bottom..... sigh, went to 3 pharmacies today and all locations carry this new stock.... so i thought maybe i can find another brand that has the equivalent hold...considering 'aussie' mega hold and the other one, tresemme...

If you want it to hold, blow dry it after using the mouse. Always works for me.

I use Sebastian Molding Mud and some hairspray, its not super glue but its holds well and keeps the hair not turning into a hair helmet.
