Strongest glue?

Want to glue the wheels in place because they keep popping off...What is the strongest glue affordable?

loctite makes some pretty good stuff. i also use Goop to glue many things together. there's always JB weld and other 2-part epoxy

Try Gorrilla glue. I use it to glue everything.

Epoxy is some pretty strong sh!t. Its gotta cure for a while tho.

EDIT And considering how force is being applied to those wheels, I don't think glue will do a damn thing. Buy a new chair

i saw a demo of it at homedepot once where they glued a little wood handle to a big old cement block, it was pretty cool.

5 minute epoxy or JB Weld.

any polyurethane glue should work. just don't get any on you.

It's a perfectly good chair, if I can glue the wheels on it will last.

Go to your hardware store and select the strongest epoxy they have with at least 5 minutes working time available.

Be sure to scour the wheel and the fitting, maybe even drill small holes in both, so the epoxy can attach to both pieces firmly, otherwise the same thing will happen eventually.

If it's plastic, don't they have some kind of glue that melts plastic and when it rehardens it has bonded?? (like on PVC pipe??)

Anyhow, good luck. The way the force is applied to those wheels is a bad design, and I predict any fix you get now will be temporary.

Yes I know, it is a horrible design. I was thinking of replacing the casters entirely but I dont think that would work. Really don't want to buy a whole new chair when the only thing that is bad is the stupid wheels.

Yes it will not swivel, no it is plastic.

He's suggesting replacing the entire base of the chair. Hardly worthwhile.

As opposed to "maybe you can replace the entire star-shaped wheel thing" buying a new chair would be worth it. Maybe if I can salvage it, and save say $50-60 it's worth it.
