it was really tight and the screw seemed partially stripped already.
now it's completely stripped.
how can i get it off? 🙁

it's on a floppy drive btw 😛

Well, is it like a hex head type screw or a regular screw? If it's hex you could probably get some small vice grips on it or somthing. Otherwise you're probably screwed.

oh, it's the round ones. it's on VERY tight, so i doubt that wouldve worked.

If worse comes to worse... use the Tim Allen method. Use a big friggin drill bit and drill that bastich until there's nothing left but "shock and awe"

Well first you have to say nice things to it. You know that you care about it and you really want to make it happy. A little wine would help to lossen things up. Then you have to start gently caressing it. Don't be to agressive now, take it nice and slow. If you go to fast you'll never get it off. Now when you feel it start to loosen up a bit bear down hard. But once again not to hard. You've got to let things go, but still be a little in control. And if you did everything right.......you'll find you've gotten your screw off.

😛
