Stripe size question for the raid gurus out there

I read the raid article on this site and it's quite good. However I'm looking to do a raid 0 setup with the highpoint 372 chipset.

In the article a highpoint 370a chipset was tested and maxed out at a 64kb stripe size and it was suggested that a higher stripe size may work better judging from the benchmarks. The 372 supports up to 2 meg stripes. I believe the only addition was the larger stripe size support and possibly ATA133 support.

Anyone with this chipset or experience know what the optimal stripe size would be for genral use (ie gaming, and some basic office tasks) ? Thanks in advance.

For general use (office work and games), 64kb stripe is generally recommended for RAID 0. This includes SCSI, SATA, or IDE RAID configurations. If the majority of your applications are with large graphic files (such as drawings and pictures), you can benefit from a larger stripe setting.
