stringing a cable through dash

so my sony headunit has aux input, but its not a front aux input, but rather a pair of cables hangs from the rear of the unit. i just left it taped to the back when I put the cd deck in, but now that I have an mp3 player, I'd like to use them. how would I go about stringing cable through my dash from the rear of the unit? I have a '97 Dodge Dakota Sport.
any ideas?

i know this is a tough question for this type of forum, but i'll take any kind of help or a point in the right direction.

I have a '99 Dak, and I mounted a jack right under the center panel beneath the ashtray/power sockets (See above pic). Fairly easy to hook up by feel even when you are driving, and stealthy also.

Ktulu, yep thats my interior.. expect mine is an auto and not a stick.

mounted a jack? could you show some pics of what you did or explain it?

Just come out below the dash were the open area is, you can just snake it through and not have to drill or damage your truck.

That's how I did it in my Tahoe at least.
