I've need help with dealing with stress...
My shoulders are usually really tense - it hurts at times.
The job is stressful at times - dealing with cust yelling at you about their computer problems can drive you crazy.
I am constantly thinking about things to come - when I procastnate I stress more so I do my best to not do that. I don't want my hair to turn white before I turn 30, I don't want to look 50 when I am 30. I shouldn't be so friggen stress at the age of 20, I am suppose to have fun - I'm young, attractive, but why am I not happy at times?
Anybody have any suggestions? I am thinking about going to a SPA or something.

Update

THANKS for ALL your advices :) I will keep them in mind.
I may try counterstrike, does Alice count?
I work for ClientLogic here in Vegas, Dell Tech.
I try not to let it get to me but sometimes you just get those calls that just makes your day so crappy - don't get me wrong I enjoy the work I do but sometimes I just want to tell the cust to shove their computers up their behinds. :p

I feel your pain.
Pack it up, it will make you feel better ;)

Tech support is a VERY VERY stressful job.

<< Counterstrike, 4 hours a day. >>

LOL...the funny thing is, he's right. When I'm stressed I play Quake3 and blow up some people.

First, be aware of your breathing.

Sometimes when I am stressing out, I forget to breathe... you would be surprised at how often you are holding and restricting your breath.

Second, gentle, stretching exercises such as Pilates and regular walking will help release stress hormones from your body.

Third, do super-sensual, relaxing things such as take a warm bath with essential oils such as lavender and peppermint in the evenings. I have a garden at my bathtub and I light candles and just bliss out after a long day.

Make it a habit to destress and treat yourself right and you will feel better and look better.

not to undermine you, but you've gotta find a way to deal with it. what type of tech support do you do? and if there is crap thrown at you, don't take it to heart/personally. this is especially true if you are working on a trading floor providing support. i've seen traders put phones inside monitors and bitching up the wazoo, so *shrugs*.

do something you like. spend some time with the people you care about most. personally, i have my friends and hobbies, and when i'm out of work, i don't bring it home with me. what happens at work, stays there, unless they call me (i'm on-call as well).

in summary,
don't take it personally
leave work at work and don't bring it home
do stuff you like to do when you're not working.

hope this helps. :)

stress is voluntary. don't allow yourself to get stressed.

pain is inevitable, suffering is not
(buddhist saying paraphrased)

1) exercise
2) warm bath/shower
3) sex
4) some deathmatching

not necessarily in that order :)

I hope you do 1&2 in that order...if you don't bathe after exercise you have issues ;) But 3&4 better not be in that order....I dunno about you but if I got up and went to the computer right after sex I'd have some trouble....lol

Uhm as to the question, exercise helps me alot. I read alot to, nothing relaxes me like a good book. Killing sh*t in video games always helps to.

A good massauge (sp?) usually helps to.

Counterstrike helps a lot. A joint works wonders. Hottubs are very nice. Sex is amazing for curing stress. But all4 together cannot be beat. Preferably in this order:

Joint in hottub before sex while in hottub, then counterstrike.
