tempting, a lot of work to get it where it is and I'm sure an Ariel Atom would be a similar to this project with a lot less work on the builders end.

all in all, nice project.

That is freaking awesome! I love seeing projects like this where a lot of hard work and serious ingenuity go into it. I'd probably get in a wreck if I was driving along and saw an IndyCar pull up next to me.

yep. pretty cool. i always check out the listings in hemmings when i see one, would be neat to have an old indy or f1 car.

It would probably be way easier to make a tube frame chassis from scratch that looks like a indy car than convert an existing one. Still pretty awesome. The ground clearance would be real interesting though.

I'm wondering how they got away with the whole you know... not having a functional windshield thing. Here in NH they have been cracking down (no pun intended) on vehicles with windshield damage that affects visibility on the driver's side--though I suppose not having a windshield to crack is certainly helpful in that aspect.

It's actually somewhat likely that I get to see this thing on the road lol
