Okay I just found out how the uploading of replays works ...

You can only upload your replay of your final match if you win and your total CP points for that tourney exceed the CP points earned in your previous saved replay match. So it's kind of lame IMO.

So basically if you have a replay saved where you earned 10k CP, then you will not even have the option to save another replay of a final match you won unless your total CP for that match is over 10k.

You go to the leaderboards and you will see a little video icon next to the name if they have a video uploaded, and you press A to view it. Once viewing it you can also save some locally offline to your HDD in the gallery.

May be doable. Didn't halo 3 eventually get videos viewable from the PC?
 
Only the top 5000 players get to upload their replay. So you were top 5000 when you won your first few championship matches, but now there's probably 5000 people in the higher brackets who have taken the replay slots.

nah that's not it, i read how it works over on SRK and explained it above in my other post 🙂
 
so I got up to G2-E last night but only had a chance to do 4 matches.

First tourney I lost first round, 2nd tourney I made it to the 3rd round (G2's have 4 rounds).

The competition is definitely stepped up here from G3, that is for sure.

I did notice too, when you lose the first match in G2, you don't get any points, not even that +1 point. I forget how many I got for losing in the 3rd round though, but it was not many either. It's going to take a while to move points up now.
 
won my first (and only so far) g2 tourney last night.

g2 competition is a lot tougher, and man, getting points will be a lot tougher in this mode.

at the end i had almost 37k CP and still only gained 104GP points after winning heh.

my video is up too if anyone wants to see it, i'm embarassed that i got caught by akuma's oldest trick in the book though, but I retaliated very nicely 🙂
 
Tomorrow, Justin Wong is gonna fight against rapper 50cent at some game shop in new york. I expect video to hit the net shortly after, unless fiddy goes on a shooting spree after he gets beat so badly..

Who do you think fiddy plays? So far the conventional wisdom at the srk forums has been that he'll either pick Balrog (boxer) because he's black or Ken because, "n***as love ken"

I should be in G2 if I play a couple tourneys tonight. I have been winning most of them lately. Dreading G2 though cuz I'll be losing a ton. Hopefully it will level up my game though.

I like the replay mode. I just wish it would let you choose any of your tourney wins to upload. They could still limit it to one per person. I don't think I've seen your replay if it is new.

yea i wish you could just upload any replay, regardless of the CP you win from the tourney. i don't understand the reasoning behind this. but yea my replay was from last night so it's pretty new heh.

Yeah the fight I was able to upload is pretty lame. I've had way better ones that I'd rather people see lol.
 
lol el fuerte is so freaking weird to play against, i hate playin him. i just faced one in a tourney championship though and uploaded the video heh, it is such a sloppy match but i pulled out in the 3rd round.

ok i just beat this cammy who was G2-A and won a ton of poitns so I had to upload that video haha.

I ordered a TE stick direct from Capcom and was sent a backorder notification. Has anyone heard anything about this? It's been months and I don't like playing with my regular 360 gamepad.
 
Woot! I finally got the game last night. Wanted the PS3 version, so my son can play against his friends also, and we only have one XBL account for the 360, but the only one I could get for $35 (sorry last one) was the 360.

Anyways, wow, I use to be top 5 player in my high school when SF2 was out and all it's different iterations in the following years. Haven't really played SF much in the past 5 years. I suck!!! Pathetically suck. I can barely get past the 3rd opponent in arcade and this is on medium. Bah!!

Anyways, I'm going to practice my butt off. Hopefully I can put up a little resistance if I get around to play you guys.

btw, I hate C. Viper, haven't figured how to counter her yet.
 
GG's last night chrono! I finally won another match against you, I think that brings us to like 2-70-something? LOL! I was actually in training mode practicing that crossunder reset off the ex hurricane kick when you sent the invite. I'm glad I was able to pull it off in a live match, especially against someone as skilled as you.

Medium's a lot harder than the name implies. That's why there's at least 2 difficulties below it.
 
Haven't been playing for a few weeks and just started up again. Just broke into G2 brackets and holy mother of god this is like an mmorpg grind now.

Alright guys! I got the xbox 360 version. All I can say is that the Sanwa parts for the Mad Catz TE Stick really feel like quality parts. Definitely better than my ps3 hori ex3 stick.
