The mods are after me, so, just in case this, amoung many, is an offending thread, let me say this:


I defintiely could have handled this better. The guy was interested in streaming something or other (streaming video, audio, in spanish even, and I gave him an option.)

I an attempt to "help," I psoted an anonymous proxy for him. I realzied that was a msitake, and promptly took it down.

When he said it was not an option (it clearly was) and stated again that he wanted to bypass the BBC's proxies, I, in an idiotic attempt to save face, I acted like a smart ass, and made light of the fact that a simple google search would have yeilded him an IP, although in not so many words😱

Obviously he took offense (reasonable) and then I just messed it up even further.....

Basically, I broke the rules by posting the proxy address that would circumvent the BBC site, and in an attempt to fix it, I acted inappropriately with witten.


My apologies to all parties. I usually try to help up, so totally screwed this one up, not once but multitple times.



I realzie that having to explain oneself is lame and that being clear and concise, not to mention continuously-corteous and getting the correct thought out the first time is what I should have done, but well, I have no choice but own up to my foul up.


P.S. As all of you know, although I may have flaws, I am a nice guy. If he would have asked, I would have streamed it to help the guy out, but I am not about to do that for every random person under the sun, and I understand that my explication of that in this thread was quite inapprorpriate.
