Streaming Video not working

Anyone have any suggestions? My computer will not stream video suddenly in either IE or FF. It runs a couple of seconds, then stops. It's not a buffering issue, and the buffer continues to fill. This is an issue as far as I can tell for all streaming video (youtube, googlevideo, etc.).
