That movie predicted Atkins diet!

Doctor 1: So, did he ask for anything?
Doctor 2: Just some fresh honey and organic rice.
Doctor 1: What? Do deep fat? No red meat?
Doctor 2: Ah, but in his day, those things were considered unhealthy, which is precisely the opposite of what we know now.

memento (kinda confusing, but great once you understand it), groundhog day (god i love this movie), and pi (i still dont get this movie). good, this thread reminded me to download, err... rent, clockwork orange, requiem for a dream, and irreversible (has anyone seen this last one? i heard it was incredibly disturbing..).

edit: also, jimmy stewart in Harvey. man, a movie with an imaginary 6ft rabbit... weird..it's one of my faves though!

saw a short film called the lottery that was pretty whacked.

The short story is good if you can;t find the movie

I think i've seen that before. Wasn't it animated, about a human being kept as a pet by other beings? Or something along those lines?

A few movies came to mind when i saw the thread title but most have been mentioned already... so how
about Jacob's Ladder.

Yep, that was it. French, too, I believe.

Eraserhead & Naked Lunch... too close to call for the top spot...add Requiem For A Dream as honorable mention!
