Strange XP Pro Problem?????

I got this really bizzare problem with XP. Everytime when there is an windows error dialog it would disappears instantly as it appears without me pressing the "ok" button. So basically it displays for less than a second and thens its gone (normally you would need to click on the ok button). I don't think the problem is application-specific because it appears in a lot of program I use so it must be something to do with XP.
