Strange USB problem

Hi all. I got the Tsunami recently. My problem is that when I try to connect the USBs on the case to the mobo I cannot turn on the machine even using the power button on the mobo( I use USBs 5-8). I know that the mobo is getting power as the DRAM and standby power LEDs turn on.
Has anybody had any similar experiences or suggestions? Thanks in advance.....

Simple (and probably stupid) question: Did you plug the cable on the right connector (not 180 degrees rotated)?

Hmmmmm.....Interesting...I just plugged it in...Maybe I should try to plug it in flipped eh?..180 deg?

At least you should a look in the manual to ensure you plugged the cables right or wrong.

Will try to flip it..the manual makes no mention of the right way to put it in....thanks
