Strange things happening ...

Here's the deal:

I just changed the MB on my old PC ... not sure what the old MB was, but I do know that it was socket A nforce 2 based ... changed to an ASRock SiS741GX chip MB ...
CPU is an Athlon XP 2400+ ... after new installation, the CPU has suddenly turned into an Athlon XP 1800+?!?!?!?!?!?! HUH???

Does anyone know why this might be happening, and how I might be able to fix this?! THANKS!

Oh, and my 1024 RAM has also turned into 960 RAM???

Thanks again =D

OK, found out what was wrong with the CPU ... fixed.

However, still don't know why the RAM went down ... any suggestions or thoughts?

SiS741GX has an onboard graphics chip that takes some of your system memory, 64MB in your case.
You can set how much it uses in the BIOS, for 2D work only, 32 MB should be sufficient.

HTH
