HAHAH this is that fake thing. I forget what movie it was, but this church group believed judgement day was coming, and a bunch of college kids played a bunch of trumpet samples over a loudspeaker as a joke. This is either taken from that and put over video, or sampled and a hoax by multiple people. (Red State was the movie I think).

Christ thats a big converter. I've only seen 100kw (shorpower style). Those things will heat up an engine room all by themselves. I can't imagine how big a 40MW one is.

Or a bunch of people chatting on the internet who said, hey, did you see what these kids did in this movie that many people probably didn't see? Woudln't it be funny if we did it on a larger scale?! It'd make the news!

So they do it, and it makes the news...and that's when bad stuff starts to happen. (cue scary music)
