Hello everyone !
So I have this 2 HDD's which I bought this year, both are 4TB 7200 versions. On one of the HDD's (Hitachi) when MPC or any other video player is playing some movie there are sounds coming from HDD,which are similar to read/write sounds, also if you drag the time code slider in player, you can hear the sounds non-stop during slider dragging. I bought this drive brand new and there are no problems with it,like overheating or bad sectors or corrupted data files or anything like that, just this read/write sounds during video playback.

Scheduled optimization for both drives are turned off and this HDD with sounds need fragmentation (win 10 drive tool says that, can it be because of that?)
I also attached screenshots for both drives, just in case.Hitachi.jpgWL4000.jpg
Thanks in advance !

Yeah, if your drive is fragmented, and you're trying to play a (large?) video file, then yes, necessarily, it willl likely have to seek back and forth during playback to read all of the segments of the file, so yes, fragmentation could definitely cause that.

Just finished win10 optimize tool for defrag and all sounds are gone, hurray!
