Strange SoB problem

I have SoB installed on a friend's machine. It was installed as a service, with two clients, on an AMD dual-core rig. The XP install was migrated to a C2D rig, and now, sometimes, when the OS boots, only one SoB client gets loaded. CPU usage is only 50% instead of 100%.

Manually stopping and then re-starting the service fixes the problem, but why is this happening?

That's what I would do too.

Would uninstalling the service and then reinstalling cause him to lose progress in the units hes working on?

It would kill the work you're on now.

You can go to the SoB site and follow the preferences link to the pending test management page and expire them so they will get re assigned.
