Ok, so I broke up with my girlfriend this weekend and a strange thing happened. For the last 2 months I have been with my girlfriend I have been tired on week nights and was in bed at 9 most of the time. Now just 2 days after breaking up I have realized that I stay up much much later. Why is that?

PM me if you figure it out. My bf is excellent at falling asleep - including on dates occasionally. :) But he's so cute that way...

She's not sucking the life out of you anymore so you have more energy.

Here is another part to the story, I go to bed later wake at the same time and feel more refreshed. Maybe its the fact I know I dont have to worry about anything anymore. I can just sit back and let the women come to me now;)

You know, I've noticed the same thing.. before my bf, I could stay up til all hours of the morning without a problem.. now it's not even midnight yet and I've had 1 vivarin, 2 mt dews and 3 big cups of coffee and I'm yawning.. and I got plenty of sleep last night

He can fall asleep in minutes, though if he's playing video games on the weekends, he stays up til 4-5

When we broke up I went up to a friends house and we played Xbox and PS2 until 730 the next morning. I tried driving home after that and I hit a gaurd rail going 65 mph. I found out why you dont try to drive after staying awake for 26 hours, even if you dont feel tired.(I will have the full story and pics when I get the pics uploaded, I will have them up as soon as possible)

Remember that aging device in the book/movie The Princess Bride (underlined, not italicized, because the book was so much better)? Yeah, same deal.

Maybe it's because you're in a new situation, and that's bound to bring new stamina/excitement/etc. Not necessarily that it's a good situation, but just anything new might give you an adrenaline rush. But if it lasts, then who knows.

No, I dont. Please elaberate(sp)

TheBlondeOne-there is nothing really new in my life. I come home about an hour earlier now and sit on my @ss, but that is about it. Maybe it is with this little bit more time on my own that does it.
