Strange rebooting problems

So I got this new Abit motherboard after my ECS KN1 SLI Extreme died on me. It's been good aside from a teething problem that's been driving me insane.

Occasionally the computer will (without warning) totally reboot. No blue screen or anything. It's very frustrating.

PSU voltages look good, RAM timings match the SPD, and I have no heat problems.

The only part I've changed is the board, so I'm thinking that's probably it. Do you guys have any ideas?

Do you have automatic restart disabled? If it's enabled you're probably missing the blue screen.

System Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery > Automatically restart

DOH! reformatted when I got the new board and forgot to do that tweak!

I will see where that leads me...

So I did that, and it still occasionally rebooting without warning. This is in both (mostly) idle and load situations. Happened today when I was playing homeworld, and happened 3 times the other night when I was just listening to an audiobook.

On another note, my sound system has been giving off this odd 'buzzing' sound when there is no Operating System loaded. When the driver kicks in, it goes away and all works well.

It only happened recently, and I dont know if its related... but its the only other issue I have with my computer. I had this issue with my old motherboard as well.

Maybe I will try taking out out. What do you guys think?
