Strange Problem with Video Card

I seem to have a strange problem with my video card. The first time I boot during the begining of my work-day, the computer makes a beep sound about not able to find the display card and my monitor remains blank. But if I remove the card and put it back in, it boots up normally. After that it becomes fine and any no. of shutdowns and reboots during the course of the day, the computer works without a hitch. This problem has been going on for the past 4 days and I am tired of removing the screws for my cabinet every morning and putting them back. Can anybody tell me a fix to this problem ?

My config is :
AMD ThunderBird 900 Mhz
Abit KT7 motherboard
Asus Geforce 2 (V7700) card.
Samsung SyncMaster 753DF
Creative Sound-Blaster X-Gamer
Motorola SM56 internal Data-Fax-Voice modem
Western Digital 45gb HDD
Asus 50x cd-rom drive
Microsoft keyboard and Optical Intellimouse Explorer USB
Microsoft Precision Pro Joystick.
Windows XP Pro.:disgust:
