strange problem with firefox

I have this very weird problem with firefox. There seems to be two strange blank spaces on the right hand side and on the bottom (under the status bar). I can't seem to get rid of them, ive tried uninstalling-reinstalling firefox (even deleted the folder) but the problem still seems to persist...anyone have any ideas? btw I've attached a screenshot of the problem.

How does it look under IE? If it looks right then it's likely they used some IE exclusive feature. I'd suggest installing the latest vesion of Opera to see how it looks there too.

Some of the alternatives do handle some M$ specific code better than the Mozilla stuff. Do you have the latest version and patches (if any) to FF?
