In all applications like Messenger e-mail MSN and what not.
I click on them and they just do not work anymore. Happened around the time I installed Avast Antivirus.

Anybody got ideas?

Okay, IE 7 shouldn't have anything to do with it. However, I would double check your security settings within your browser and also check the settings with your AntiVirus software. Often times, AntiVirus programs will require to to grant programs "permission" to access the internet via a hyperlink within that program. I.E. your friend sends you a hyperlink in MSN messenger, however you are unable to access the link in a new window. If you grant permission for MSN messenger to open links, you should be good to go.

I hope this helps, and if you give it a shot and have no luck, let me know and we'll try something different.

Good Luck!

Oh Kay I checked all security settings and all is re-set to default. Also noticed that IE was not the default browser so I set it default and now all my links in e-mail and MSN and Yahoo work again. Odd.
Thanks

Ken

No problem -- glad I could help. That's why I asked what "default browser" you were using instead of just asking what browser do you use because having a particular browser set to default can often have something to do with the links working, etc..

Glad you got it working Ken.
