Strange noise from MOB

Anybody ever had the MOB make a high pitch noise (sort of like letting air out of a ballon by pinching the air valve) when you first plug your system in?

This is in reference to the topic I posted about not being able to power up my system. At first I thought it might have been the power supply but I took the MOB out of the case and plugged the PS in then, and I am pretty sure I heard the noise coming from my MOB....any suggestions, cussing, discussing??
