Hello all,

I have an issue that's been bugging me for a long time now, about 4 years to be exact. There's this strange noise coming from my pc. First I thought the noise was caused by one of the fans. But I've already replace my cpu fan, and the psu fan. The problem remains and I don't know what causes it.

Here's a video I've made to show you what I'm talking about. The noise you'll hear starts at 0:11 into the video. Oh, please turn up the volume really high so you can hear the noise.

That is strange. What graphics card do you have? Have you made sure all cables are clear of the fans?

Thanks! Is it something to be worry about? I have this noise for over 4 years now, I think.

At this point, it should be fine. If it starts getting louder, then that cap is about to go and it's time to get new hardware and migrate your data before it dies.

It might just be a slightly off bearing in a fan. Try operating the machine with the cover off so you can see if there is any correlation between fan movement and the noise. It's either a moving part of something electrical.

It's not the fans. As stated in the op I've already replaced all the the fans in my pc with new ones.
