I am trying to map two hard drives across a hub which had been working both ways at one point. I have both drives shared and am in the same workgroup on both computers, and i have netbuei installed in both instances. but the problem is that only one computer can access the others drives. I was able to map the network drive on computer-a to be accessed on computer-c, but computer-c will not recognize the hard drive in computer-a. both of these systems are connectted to the internet through this hub via DHCP and both are working fine.

Both systems are using win98 se

All help is apprechiated.

Can both PC's see either PC via the Network Neighborhood browser?

If they can, but one still can't see the resources shared by the other, either unshare and then reshare the resources or type from the Start --> Run line \\<the name of the PC where the drives is>\<drive share name> from the other PC and see if the drive and resources are available.

Make sure when you reshare, that you enable full (password usually required) or limited access.
