Strange Mouse Issue

Hey I've been having a strange issue with my mouse ever since I installed Windows 7. I've searched on Google and haven't found any others having issues like this.

Basically anytime my system gets really high usage the mouse will occasionally jump on the screen. This will mostly happen when I'm playing a game and start recording using fraps, but does still occasionally happen when not using fraps and games graphics get a bit intense.

My system specs are as follows:
8gb OCZ ram
ATI Radeon 4850 GPU
intel 3ghz dual core
ASUS P5Q Motherboard
Windows 7 operating system

Have you tried another USB port?

Do you use the manufacturer's mouse driver?

Thanks for the input, sorry for the delay in response:

I am using the manufacturer's drivers, it's a logitch MX 518 and fully updated.

I will try the different USB port thing tonight, that actually could be it thinking back on some things so I'll post back here in a bit.

If changing usb ports does not work, then try removing the logitech software. You don't need their software unless you use it to map buttons for games and stuff.

You can always reinstall it, but for diagnostic purposes, let's start with that.
