I have a Mitsubishi 15" lcd that works fine....... unless it gets unplugged. If you unplug this monitor it will not come back on unless you wait a few (6-8) hours, then it will power back up and work fine. The monitor doesn't belong to me, a friend ask me to see if I could fix it. I got it at my house and plugged it in, it would not power up, no light, nothing. I left it sitting there plugged in and the next morning it was on, I used it for a couple of days with no problem. We took the monitor back to my friends and it wouldn't do anything, after a couple of trips I figured out it had to be plugged in for a while before it would power back up. If it was the other way around (shutting down after a while) I'd figure it was a heat problem with some component, but I've never seen anything that had to be plugged in for hours before it would work. If anyone can steer me toward a fix I'd be eternally grateful.

Spend ~$300 and get a new 15" lcd or buy a $50 ups and plug the lcd into that. Drag the ups with the lcd wherever you go.
