Strange issues with PMs?

Hi there,

i've just been having some weird problems with the forums in general lately:
- instead of the large # of icons in the upper right of each person's post, i've only got online / profile
- trying to click on either does nothing (mozilla cycles like it's doing something, stops, and i'm still in the same place)
- I can't send PMs at all (i can receive them, though), i.e. the reply PM or send PM window never comes up at all
- the "help" page doesn't come up (same cycling thing as with the things two lines up)

here's some info on my lappy:
OS X 10.2.3
Mozilla 1.2

that's about all i've found 😀 -- if the first one is just a policy change, i apologize, i've been away for a couple months 🙂

Are you running some kind of pop up stopper? If so, disable it and try again to see if that's it.

nope, no popup blocker

and i made sure i allowed new window generation in mozilla 1.2

i also tried it under the IE for mac (5.2 or something like that) -- doesn't work there either...

figured it out... it was that sneaky bastard "Norton Privacy Control" running in the background... haha!
