I have an interview with a company next week. The guy sent me the schedule. This thing is running 8:00am - 3:30 pm???? I'm looking at this thing, it's broken up almost like a orientation. Topics are like: diversity, project management, SDLC. This is for a senior developer position. It also has me meeting various members of the team througout the day and various managers (kind of intimidating). Anybody delt with these type of interviews???? What is this called?

This is called a "day interview" where you will be courted around to many depts. Everyone will eval you and will give their $.02 as to your future with the company.

It's called, an interview.

It's very normal to have all day interviews with multiple employees meeting you.

As for the other topical stuff...can't really comment on that.

I've had a couple of companies do interview/tour/presentation thingies.

They bring you up to the company. Wine and dine you. Give you a tour of the city and the company. Some executives give you a presentation about the company to get you excited about what they're doing. Somewhere in that, they squeeze in a few interviews.
