Strange graphical glitches

In every PC game I play (doom 3, BF2 demo, HL2, CSS) I got odd black dots appearing sometimes, any idea to why this is happening? I can't remember when it started.

Radeon 9800 pro catalyst 5.6 (newest)
Pentium 4 3.2ghz
1GB of RAM
200GB seagate barracuda ATA 7200RPM
