Strange Geforce2 Win2k Problem

Ok, I've recently purchased a Hercules Prophet II 64, I've also got a Samsung 900IFT monitor. In Windows 2000 I get wierd, distortions, is the only way I can think to describe it. When I move the mouse around I seem to get horizontal distortions in the picture. This only happens in 2000, I've also got Windows 98, and I don't have any problems. I've tried new drivers, the 5.30 drivers, and I've also tried different resolutions and refresh rates, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

Have you tried disabling mouse shadows? For some versions of the drivers, mouse shadows cause all sorts of problems.

If you disable the mouse shadows and you still get the distortion set the mouse pointers to system default and that will take care of your problem.

Thanks, that fixed the problem. I had to disable mouse shadows and go back to the default pointer, but now I don't have the distortions anymore. Thanks a lot.
