I'm getting some strange effects in COD & RTCW.
Check out this MOVIE, to see what I mean(it's about 10MB AVI format)
I'm running Windows XP w/SP2, Athlon 2400+, FX5900 128MB NU not OCed.
I only get this in CoD and RTCW. I've tried Q3A, since it's all based on the same engine, and it doesn't happen. I've tried different drivers, settings, BIOS settings, even different video card BIOS.

Thanks,

Good, that one worked fine.

I've honestly never seen anything like that before. My first suggestion is to run everything at stock speeds, but you've already done that.

Could be texture corruption maybe, but I doubt it. Have you tried reinstalling COD/RTCW and updating to the latest patch?

This is a long shot, but have you tried changing Z-buffer settings in the Nvidia control panel?

Yes, tried to re-install everything, get the same results. I'm going to try some more BIOS settings.

Tried disableing fast writes, but still get it.
What's getting me is it only happens with those two games, all other games look fine.

I'm trying the 56.72 drivers now, seems to have fixed it so far, but I loose DX9.0c support. Still have to do some more testing.

Have you patched the games to their latest versions?
Do you have the latest chipset drivers for your system?

I was useing a 5950 BIOS, and restored it back to the original and still got the problem, was useing NVIDIAS latest drivers(the past two sets)
But I think my problem is solved.
Went into safe mode, uninstalled drivers, through control panel, and ran Cab Cleaner and Driver Cleaner, rebooted, installed the 71.20's with a modded nv4_disp.inf. Artifacts are gone!
I even put back my modded 5950 BIOS and everything is OK so far.
