The UDMA / EIDE disk that I boot on keeps spining down, even when OS is not booted. I've tried Maxtor and Fujitsu disks, so far. It's the ASUS CUR-DLS mobo in a HP Netserver E800.
Any tips, ideas? I'm going to try hdparm, but this happens like every 5-10 sec after activity.
Really annoying that the disc keeps spining up 'n down all the time. SCSI seems working fine.
I've just added a second CPU to this machine, also.
Thanks in advance for any ideas / advice you might have.
