Strange Crash Problem

Hey guys,

Having a problem with some periodic crashes that have happened since yesterday. All of a sudden my computer has been crashing and a palette of colors fill up the screen. Sometimes the palette of colors changes after each crash. I haven't made any hardware changes, and have been using this setup for a few months now with no problems. I opened up the PC to see if there were any loose connections, but there weren't. Suggestions or does it sound like it's time to RMA the video card back to BFG?

Does the problem persist if you remove your overclock(s)?

check your mobo chipset fan to see if is still working. Mine died and gave me problem just like you described.

yeah, i'd start with the vid card and move outwards.

try running something like 3dmark in repetitive loops. if there's a problem with the card, it will most likely be easier to see when running something graphics intensive.
