Years ago when I had a mac (which have had good text to speech built in for about 15 years) I would call friends and leave weird computer messages by holding the phone up to the computer speaker. The best was that if I typed fast enough I could reply to what they said in the same voice, totally freaked them out. If I did this now they would just assume it was me on the computer again.

Bomb threats are never cool. First, you will get in extreme amounts of trouble for doing this and it is a crime. Secondly, it's just stupid to phone in a bomb threat. It causes panic and wastes public use of police and such.

I had it call my girlfriend. She was in the rrom with me and it called and said "I'm watching you. You look really good in that blue sweatshirt. Don't try to get away, resistance is futile."

SHe handed me the phone and said "Oh my god listen to this". I started laughing right away because I didn't want to let it go too far. It took a little while for her to calm down though.

I guess this would indicate more active names than a phone book, plus they could say, I got your name and number from XXXXX.
Well NY has a law against telemarketers, so they can try to call me, but I will log and report them!

I think they want businesses to sign up for their full package. This is just a free sample, and therefore limited by number of letters. This will allow business people to get their email messages over the phone.
