You know that sound your computer makes when you turn it on? Kinda high pitched increasing in frequency? When playing games or anything using the majority of my system resources, my computer will make a clicking sound, then that same high pitched sound but decreasing in frequency, then it will sound like its turning on again. Sometimes the screen will freeze for a second or a two then everything will be fine again. On the other hand sometimes it freezes up my system. Im thinking it has something to do with my power supply or Mobo, But no one i've asked has had any helpful advice. Any insight would be appreciated.

P.S. some of the capacitor-like objects (not sure what they are but they look like capacitors) have had some corrosion coming out the ends. I just cleaned them off, but maybe this could be related.

Assuming that cylindrical components a.k.a capacitors starting to show some corrsion. I would worry about switching the whole motherboard before more problems start creeping back at you.

Where you overclocking at the moment? Had you tried testing out your CPU and Memory with these programs - Prime95, memtest86 +. ? Be sure you're case was free from dust and well ventilated.

Also...list down your system specs and CPU temperature, GPU temperature (vid card).

Well I'd suspect that a hard drive is failing. A flying head may be skipping off a platter, or a stylus may be sticking.

I've experienced that sound & it was a hdd death.

#1 is to immediately back up everything, onto another hard drive if you can, or else burn onto DVDs.

DOn't handle that ooze, & immediately start shopping for a new motherboard.
