Stranded at Viper's

OK, so it's 20 degrees here in Pittsburgh and the snow's coming down hard. Viper and I were just out driving around and his all-wheel drive Subaru was sliding a bit. Cars were in ditches by the highway, and my parked car was almost hit twice (so says our neighbor).

We have work tomorrow (Viper and I work at the same location), and I have no clothes here, so I need to get home somehow. I have a front-wheel drive Bonneville. It does OK in snow, but I did a few 180s in it last winter. The drive from my house to Viper's is about 15 min long, with a few steep hills in between.

Please help me make a choice as to what I should do (see poll).

Seriously though, here's a solution:

Have Viper bring a change of clothes and an overnight kit with him when he drives you home. He sleeps on your couch, then takes you to work tomorrow with him, leaving from your house.

AWD in the snow is all kinds of fun.

If necessary I'll drive her home & pick her up in the morning. If nothing else it's more time to play.

I'll be sure to charge her for the gas.

I would have if she hadn't been OK driving. I cleaned off her car for her, let it get nice & warm so she had perfect visibility, then took her out driving for a few blocks so she could see that the roads really were OK. Once she gets a few blocks away the roads are salted, she'll be just fine. Once she'd seen that she was fine, & she's on her way home now.

It's much better that she take her car home, we frequently work different schedules & sucks only having one car at work.
