Straight Talk launching a Verizon BYOD plan

No LTE devices means this is basically DOA for modern smartphone users who actually use their phones a good deal. Good news for dumb phone users though.

bah, still pricy.

still waiting for a prepaid verizon option to replace my $30/3gb verizon hotspot plan.

I'll wait and see. I use wifi so much that paying +$30a month just for LTE is nuts to me.

I guess if you're a heavy wifi user then you'd be okay, but they won't allow you to use any 4G Verizon phone, and that basically means any of their recent phones. I don't even remember what their last 3G only phone was?
