Since it is Verizon's network, can one then put any other Verizon phone on it? I am currently on the fence between getting a Verizon dumbphone plan (since i already have one) or an AT&T iPhone 2G plan (since I already have one). This would be a good stopgap measure if I could put my existing verizon phone on it (I like my existing phone, it gets the job done, has good battery life, and is comfortable to use).

Far as I know, you can only use their phones. No bringing your current phone over or buying a used phone for it.

Unlimited data for $45/mo looks nice, and it's a little cheaper than $50/mo for Boost Mobile, but the phone limitation kills this for me. I think Page Plus is a better deal if you don't need unlimited data. There's a thread on Page Plus here: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...=2340618&enterthread=y

Boost also allows you to bring some existing phones over, but they have to be iDEN phones (which are not that common).
