Hardly. The repuglicans can only state that their party, in name only, stretches back to Lincoln. His policies were considered radical in the 1860's, whereas the African-American was equal to his Caucasian counterpart. Fast forward many years and you will find that the GOP platform often defends "States Rights" a code word for racism that the Democrats of old (remember George Wallace??) spouted. The old guard has shifted 180 degrees over time and that is history.

States rights are the powers held by the states as outlined in the Constitution. It's not a code phrase, it doesn't have hidden meaning. This is very clearly spelled out in the constitution.
That someone has tried to perpetrate crimes under that banner is almost a given, but it absolutely does not mean that the concept is inherently linked to racism.

Well, if you're to start by embracing the notion that a white woman from the South knows what's best for black people and that black people require lifelong assistance from white people in order to overcome their inherent disadvantages...

Ultimately the principle difference between the vast majority of white liberals and the Stormfront assclogs is that Stormfront wants to hold black people down with a boot on their necks. The Democrats just use various forms of welfare which (unintentionally, I hope) accomplish the same thing.

Granted, I prefer to believe that most Democrats are well intentioned but if you look at how liberal-Democrat cities like Detroit, New York, and Chicago treat black people with cops being used as blue-uniformed night riders who get to kill black people with almost unlimited impunity is it then of little surprise that the racists from Stormfront would applaud the results of Democrat policies towards black people?

Because more blacks have died at the hands of big-city cops in the past decade alone than the sum total of all those (less than 4000) who were lynched in the 150 years after the end of the US Civil War.

Its not a crazy thought to support the idea that people born into poverty need a little extra to help them graduate or gain meaningful employment.

No need, we've brought in 10s of Millions of largely unneeded Latino labor. Now the US Citizen poor who were already here can remain poor. Dem Leadership are happy they have permanent voting block, Rep Leadership is happy they have lowered labor costs (both illegal and suppressed legal).
