I could get a 20GB for $6000.00 FFD , and that goes into a ATA interface ?

Looks like IBM Shark and EMC DMX is falling behind for SAN speed.
 
For $5000 you could get 2 of the 8 giggers /with SATA adapters and run them raid 0. I can personally attest that with such a setup windows will boot in 4 seconds
