Storage:Ext vs Removable

I need a 150g backup solution..HDDs are about the lowest $ I've seen per-gig so that seems to be the route,thought about raid but I'd feel better with separate storage.

What's the consensus of external FW or USB2.0 or removable HDD or... internal HDD and just unplug it :=)

Wow...not a single reply in a week. I would have thought *someone* had some ideas. Oh well. :=(

removable is less portable but much faster and tends to be a bit more reliable as long as you get a good frame, external fw 400 or usb2 is quite a bit slower but it's more portable and depending on the enclosure you get can be more sturdy and also be usable for 5.25" drives if you get a larger enclosure., external is also good if you have a laptop, in that case its pretty much the only easy option.
