Storage Drives for Laptop

So wondering whether its worth having two SSDs in the laptop im building, or one SSD and a HDD, what would be the pros/cons of having on of each, or two of the same do we think?
 
Building a notebook? That is a daunting task. If you have 2 SSDs, the overall system will be faster than with 1 + 1. It will use less power and give you better battery life. It will take more shock without damage. As for cons, added cost and posaibly less storage space.

Can you provide a general list of parts you are using to build your laptop>
