Let's think about this for a second. The Vice President and the President later informed us that after the attacks they had made it clear that they would shoot down any CIVILIAN aircraft that posed a threat. I don't know a single American who said this was wrong. Even the Americans onboard the Penn. plane sacrificed their lives to save fellow Americans. By agreeing to shoot down our own Civilians we accepted that collateral damage at the cost of saving countless more American lives.
We are in the same situation in saving more lives of not just Americans but citizens on countries all over the world. I don't think that any of us wish for Afghan civilians to die. Though, we can't allow evil to shield itself behind potential collateral damage. The above paragraph is to illustrate that we practive what we preach. We were willing to take collateral damage of our own civilians to save American lives. There could have been a plane that got shot down without hostages if it mistakely was off course.
Those Afghan children are the future of that country. I want to point out that I am not for killing children. Though I am for war when it stops tryants and saves lives. Back to those children being the future of that country, sadly many of them are raised to hate all who are not one of their fold. I've seen documentaries where these children say horrible wicked evil things of murder and hate. They sadly are conditioned like this because they get much reward for this behaviour. So when we see these children and adults celebrating every evil murder of innocent people (be it citizens of Israel, U.S. or other country) you have to ask yourself do these people pose a threat. I say yes, because most of the these suicide murders are nothing more that your average citizen who takes that hate and evil to another level. As you may know everyone one of these suicide terrorists was once one of those hate filled evil speaking children. (Yes I know that not all of the current population reacted the same but the masses did)
Ask yourself this question:
Knowing now what you do of history would you have approved of the killing of Hilter when he was a child (the time of innocence) or even in babyhood?

That's a stupid question. Honestly, it really is. You're creating a hypothetical situation which NONE of us would have been placed in - any of us. Therefore, it doesn't prove anything.
As far as the "war" goes, I have no problem with wiping out terrorists. However, civilian casualties are a COMPLETELY different story.

Ok here goes my $ .02 because I am wound up just like everyone else.
1. The terrorist attack on WTC/Pent. CANNOT go unpunished, with that in mind WE must determine exactly who is responsible for these actions.
2. I personally feel that anti-war stickers are not such a good idea at least now, but I am in favor of the flag idea others have suggested.
3. Having served in the military I DO understand what family and friends of the active duty military are feeling and I do pray for you and yours !
4. I DO NOT believe in GUILT BY ASSOCIATION, while this is a touchy subject escpecially since the terrorist did enter this country and sort of blend in, I do not believe there should be hate crimes against Muslims or Arabs etc... in this country or against the innocent people in whatever country we go to war with.
5. The true heart of evil is the terrorist and those that harbor them, these are the people that should be eliminated with extreme preduice and hate.
