Stop redirection???

How can I stop Internet Explorer from allowing the runaway site openings.

Call me naive if you will, but, I've just had to reboot because a half
a million sites opened and would'nt let me close or stop them.

I am sorry i guess u cannot do that .. cause it is the code which is being executed and ,,,
The only way would be to grab a browser (old) which doesnt support redirecting .I hope i am right
 
pop up windows are done with java script, you could disable it.

I had a browser that let me disable pop-ups once though, but I think it was.. hmmm.. netscape. You'd have to switch to get the option and not loose all java script, if it's still an option.


Edit: don't see it there, sorry. Don't remember whicdh version it was either, would have been a 4.x though.
