Is there a way I can stop ICQ & Microsoft products from adding new URL to my Internet Explorer favories? When every time I deleted them, it keep coming back.

I would appreciated for any informations and suggestions. Thanks.

Hide them instead. It'll be much less painless. That 'Favorites' code is probably imbedded in the binaries.

Actually it's usually just a regedit. I don't know which keys or where, but I would guess that's where you'd do it. Why do I say that? Because there's a little reg hack called Throbber that allows you to get rid of the little "throbbing" windows icon for IE.

I didn't know I can hide IE favorites just like files. That's something new to me. I usually use Netscape in the old day.

I remember I can get rid of URL from MS products by going into something. I beleived that something is regedit. I'll check it out.

Thanks guys. :)
