I'm tired of people making threads about the latest video card, and praising it like it's 1 TB of pr0n. A video card from nVidia will come out, and top the ATI one. Then the next ATI one will top the nVidia one. It goes back and forth, back and forth.. what the fvck is the point of arguing?

I've wondered what the maximum res the human eye can perceive. Although I spose that by the time they figure that out they'll be able to just jack directly into the optic nerve and then it'll be limited by the nerve bandwidth.

i just installed a firegl 8800. it works well with the open source drivers. i don't notice a difference with quake 3.
