You may already know these Google tracking tips. Enjoy.

Remove Google Tracking History
Sign into your Google account and click on https://history.google.com/
If this is not turned off, Google tracks everything search you did online for years.

Remove Youtube and Google Maps History
Google maps on your Android phone and PC keeps recent entries stored on the cloud, it cannot be cleared from the phone. To clear that and youtube history, Sign into your Google account and click the link.

Quoted before he drops this down the paranoid memory hole like nearly everything else he starts.

I think part of the recent settlement for Google was that these settings all need to be set to default. Opt in, rather than Opt out, in other words.

Great. Delete this information and google no longer knows anything about you.

...and Aerosmith says dream on.

It most likely only deletes it from your own view. Google probably still has everything you do all tracked and stored some place.

I turned it all off anyway just in case and deleted the history.

If you have nothing intelligent to say, then don't say anything.

I thought it was neat too. I don't wear a tinfoil hat and don't search for weird pornography, and am not naive enough to think that because I can't see data, it no longer exists...

Seriously some of you folks are so paranoid about data retention and you don't even realize that it is not just Google, and any data Google gathers is sold around to other data brokers. 60 minutes story on data brokers

I agree. My gmail account was pretty old, so I remember seeing really old stuff in there the first time I cleared it out. The links did help me find something I didn't clear out the first time.

Oh, and TTT for those that didn't catch this. Appreciate the thread Pardus even though you are gone (although probably posting again, just under another name, lol).
